Part of my RSS fun is this little service that I found and have been using for the past two months called Kill the newsletter.
The service is very simple, which I love it, and all it does is to give you an email address and a RSS feed URL. You subscribe to the feed URL using you favorite RSS reader and the email you should use to subscribe to newsletter.
I am following in love with RSS feeds again. I am a bit ashamed to say that size the end of Google Reader I have tried many feed reader apps and none stuck with me. I think that happened mainly because I had shared my attention with social network websites.
Overtime I slowly started loosing my interest on most social networks and more recently started noticed that I don’t really miss it and I have no need to go and check my social profiles.
The other day I was formatting an old Mac and I had to download the macOS Catalina from the internet. If you go to the App Store on your Mac the only available version is the most recently version which today is Big Sur.
I quickly found this page with all the link that will open on your Mac and start downloading the version you have chosen within the System Preferences -> Software Update.

Back in the day when Slack emojis was something new, someone in my company created an emoji with the words “Thank You” and that became widely used throughout our Slack channels.
Then people started to be creative and “New build”, “Won’t do” and others got created. A lot more got imported too. When Slack introduced dark mode we started to have issues where some of this imported or custom created emojis won’t be visible in dark mode.
