Hi|

Planning the return

Oh well. It is almost time to go back to Australia. The year off has been great but we are also looking forward to go back to Sydney. We started to have a look on Domain for housing. Since Tati and Matthias have moved to Forestville our target area is around this region. Some plan changes happened again and I will be going back by myself on the 9th of November (arriving in Australia on the 10th) and Gabi will return just in January since she is staying to wait for Tati and the kids that are coming to spend Christmas over here.

Europe Trip Part 2

To finish off our Europe Trip we left London to Barcelona in Spain and then to Italy where we visited several regions including Rome, Napoli, Capri, Tuscany, Milan and Venice. Before returning to Brazil we travelled back to Zurich where we spent another day and then caught the flight back to Sao Paulo. Below you can find some pictures of this part of the trip. Europe Trip Part 1

In the beginning of July Gabi and I headed off to Europe for 8 weeks. We left Sao Paulo To Zurich in Switzerland. Have spent some days there with our friend Henrique. After that we went to Germany, Amsterdam in the Netherlands, Paris in France and London in England for the first part of the trip. I have selected some pictures below. My Birthday

First birthday with my parents and my brother and sister since 7 years. We went to a Pizza place close to their place and we had a really nice time. Nice way to celebrate 34 years of life.

Machu Pichu

Machu Pichu and the Inca Trail were the most anticipated event of our one year off. First because if you want to do the Inca Trail you have to book the tour way before hand. Second because we would have to walk for 4 days with altitudes between 2600m to 4200m. Not an easy task. But I am here to tell you that we did. Llama at the Sacsayhuaman site in Cuzco

Relaxing…

Sometimes being on a long holiday can be stressful. Last month, Gabi and I, together with her parents, went to a city called São Lourenço, around 150 km from where her parents live. The place is known for its spa centre and medicinal water. I couldn’t resist and got myself in an immersion bath with sulphurous water flavoured with herbal essences. As you can see on the picture below, it does look like dirt water but it is very relaxing.
