The death of my MacBook Pro
Contents
This never happened with me before. My personal MacBook Pro has died. Short circut on it’s motherboard was what the Apple’s Authorized Center said.
I am luck that I keep everything in Dropbox and Github, but it is still annoying setup a new machine. I am for now using a MacBook Air that was with my father in law, but he haven’t been using it so I will be using it until I figure out what I am going to do.
Because it is a 2018 machine, Apple doesn’t have parts for it anymore so there is no way to fix it. I think this is a very bad way (from the consumer point of view) of building motherboards that you can’t easily replace only the defective part.
If wasn’t for the iOS development that I do I would probably build a Linux machine for me.
